ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
Understand the AWS infrastructure and migration requirements. Work with solution architect to arrive at the exact configuration for the AWS services
Study multiple environments on premise and understand the approach to migrate the environments on to cloud.
Work with solution architect to come up with the configuration for the AWS Services on cloud as per design.
Understand network and security requirements and arrive at configuration for the Site to Site VPN
Identify and finalize migration tools and services to migrate data from presmies to AWS Cloud
Identify and design replication services / tools to replicate data between two regions in near real time
Mandatory Skills
8-10 years of overall industry experience, with at least 5 years of experience working with AWS
Strong understanding of AWS IaaS and managed services (EC2, RDS, S3, EBS, VPC, subnets, VPN gateway and more)
Hands-on experience with setting up AWS infrastructure and automation
Experience in data migration strategies and tools (AWS DMS, SQL Server services), S3 bucket replication
Knowhow to setup a Site to Site VPN using VPN gateway, bandwidth, security, redundancy
Good knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance frameworks and how to implement them
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, DevOps, security, and application developers
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional level
Experience with AWS IaaS services , and in-premise to AWS cloud migration
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
