HP Data Governance team, under HP Enterprise Operations  manages a data

discovery automation platform to support business operations for HP privacy office and cyber security.

You will join HP data governance team as a DevOps engineer.

Job Description & responsibilities

• Responsible for developing & managing CI/CD pipelines in ADO.

• Responsible for writing and managing Terraform Modules to deploy IaC (Infrastructure as Code).

• Responsible for managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS and AKS) and their components.

• Responsible for managing and troubleshooting the professional applications running on EKS and AKS clusters in HP Cloud.

• Responsible for automating any manual process within the infrastructure management.

• Responsible for Kubernetes upgrades(EKS, AKS) and other components (Argo CD, Karpenter)

Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelors or Master’s in computer science, MIS, Engineering, Information Mgmt (preferred).

• 5 years’ work experience (minimum), including 2+ years at multi-national companies.

• 3 years’ work experience as DevOps Engineer (minimum).

• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud environments (mandatory).

• Experience with either AWS EKS or Azure AKS including proficiency to upgrade Kubernetes versions (mandatory) .

• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform (mandatory).

• Experience with CD tools like ArgoCD with jsonnet(mandatory)

• Experience with AWS Karpenter(mandatory)

• Experience with programming languages: Shell scripting, Python

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines configuration and troubleshooting (Azure DevOps Pipelines - mandatory)

• Experience with versioning tools such as GIT - mandatory

• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies (SCRUM / agile).

• Experience in working with diverse, multi-cultural teams.

• Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Results orientation, prioritization skills to deliver results in the short and long term (think big,

• start small, move fast).

• Ability to develop a collaborative work environment and partner with multiple teams, to achieve common goals.

• Willing to take over multiple roles and learn new technologies which are required to support the project in the future. E.g., AIML, API development, Data engineer etc.
