Core Java Developer (Lead) with skills for location Plano, Texas, US
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for Technology Lead.
Analyzing requirements by engaging with primary stakeholders to determine specific feature expectations, and resolution of the ambiguity in requirements.
Documenting the clarification and key points.
Providing estimates for project work based on effort and historical data.
Understanding technical issues and their implications to the business and being able to communicate them with other stakeholders within the business.
Writing unit test cases and modifying existing tests for code coverage.
Developing simulators to mock third party applications during the development phase.
Maintaining software versioning using code repository tools.
Contributing and enhancing code to support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery.
Tracking and monitoring the project life cycle.
Performing ongoing software maintenance operations.
Providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
Evaluation of critical code fixes to determine ship readiness and help make sure that each release goes out on time with high quality.
Supporting the production deployment and working on warranty support.
Documenting the low level and high-level designs, the implementation plan, and technical specifications for the application.
Documenting or reviewing the business walkthrough presentations of the application.
Communicating project information to stakeholders through presentations and organizational tools.
Analyzing existing applications when adding new features and recommending upgrades to improve performance baselines and support new features.
Creating rollback plans for the software upgrades.
Testing to ensure expected results as well as capture new performance metrics.
Collaborating with other software engineers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
Providing advice on design concepts or design changes.
Evaluate current or emerging technologies while considering factors such as effort, feasibility, and maintainability.
Automation of various development tasks, deployment tasks and environment setup scripts.
Performing and developing peer code review process and ensuring code coverage for the test cases.
Mentoring other software engineering teams in complex projects.
Job Requirements: Required Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 5 years of experience in the job offered, Developer, IT Analyst, Systems Engineer or related. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the US.

Salary Range: $149,781/Year to $155,000/Year.
