Job Profile Summary:

As a Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Specialist you will design, implement, and optimize advanced data analytics and reporting solutions. you will leverage Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization

Responsibilities:

•        Leading the design and development of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards

•        Design and implement data pipelines, dataflows, and datasets using Microsoft Fabric.

•        Monitor Fabric usage and PBI dashboard consumption across as well as outside organization.

•        Providing guidance on data modeling and DAX calculations

•        Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Synapse, Data Factory, and Dataflows.

•        Collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements

•        Optimize performance of Power BI reports and data models for large-scale datasets.

•        Configure and manage data lakes, warehouses, and real-time analytics environments within Microsoft Fabric.

•        Apply best practices in data governance, security, and compliance within the Microsoft ecosystem.

•        Ensuring data security and compliance

•        Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions

•        Stay up to date with the latest updates in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to drive innovation and efficiency.

•        Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and stakeholders on utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI tools effectively.

Required skills & experience:

•         5-8+ years of experience as a Power BI developer with excellent track record

•        Extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions

•        Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric & PBI

•        Proven ability to design and implement scalable data models

•        In-depth knowledge of data integration techniques and tools

•        Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation

•        Advanced knowledge of DAX calculations and data modeling

•        Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts

•        Familiarity with Azure services, including Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Logic Apps.

•        Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries

•        Ability to architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers

•        Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts for enhanced data insights is a plus.

•        Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams

•        Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results•    

Certifications in Power BI are highly desirable

Knowledge of Cloud and DataBricks is advantageous.

Familiarity with other BI tools is beneficial.
