Job Description:

Experience: 4.5 to 6 Years

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Junior Engineer to join our team, focusing on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack. You will be responsible for coding, testing, and building robust back-end solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.

Required Skills:

· Strong hands-on experience with PHP and MySQL.

· Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and PHP’s synchronous behaviour.

· Familiarity with MVC design patterns; experience with frameworks like Symfony or Zend is a plus.

· Experience in API development and integration using REST/SOAP Web Services.

· Strong knowledge of database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.

· Understanding of performance optimization, scalability issues, and solutions.

· Familiarity with backend API architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

· Working knowledge of open-source technologies.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Proactive mindset with the ability to seek help and close issues efficiently.

Good-to-Have Skills:

· Knowledge of front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery.

· Familiarity with additional languages like Python.

· Experience with MongoDB.

· Version control systems: GIT, SVN.

· Able to contribute to Agile ceremonies and methodologies.

· Proficient with using Jira / Confluence to track tasks and create technical documentation.

· Exposure to test-driven development practices.

· Working knowledge of AWS services

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications.

· Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while following best practices.

· Implement and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for application integration.

· Work with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL to design and optimize queries.
