Performance Testing Engineer (Standard) with skills SDET, Performance Testing, Java Performance Test Scripting, JMeter for location Noida, India
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and support the planning, design, and execution of performance testing activities for on-site projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Support the analysis of Analytics Data for Peak Load and Page Views to assist in creating Workload Modeling and Click Stream documents.
Help in developing performance test strategies based on project requirements and objectives, working closely with senior team members.
Learn and assist in the development of Performance Test Scripts using JMeter and other relevant tools.
Assist in configuring and deploying performance testing tools and environments as needed.
Execute performance tests and support the analysis of test results to identify performance issues and potential bottlenecks.
Collaborate with development teams to assist in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues identified during testing.
Help prepare performance test reports and present findings to project stakeholders.
Participate in team discussions, share feedback, and contribute to improving performance testing processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance testing.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
0-1 year of experience in performance testing, preferably with exposure to tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
Basic knowledge of JMeter distributed mode testing and an eagerness to learn.
Exposure to version control systems such as GitHub and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Hands-on experience or interest in working with dashboarding tools like Grafana and Kibana.
Strong understanding of basic performance testing concepts and methodologies.
Exposure to performance testing of web applications, APIs, and databases is a plus.
A quick learner with a passion for improving testing skills and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
