Success Story: Retail E-Commerce Platform Comparison in Action

We used the process depicted above in a consulting exercise we completed for a US retailer to help identify the right tech stack. In this case study, we chose one of the building blocks as an example (i.e. e-commerce platform).

For this retailer, we conducted three different workshops with leadership, e-commerce product teams (including technical stakeholders) and the operations team. After evaluating six products on hundreds of parameters across ten categories, we presented the detailed analysis. In the diagrams below, we’ve presented the outcome of the exercise, for three different categories. While we ensure every analysis is customized, the three sample charts below showcase outcomes for different requirement categories. The final consolidated chart provides a clear, actionable comparison of platforms based on customer specific priorities.
