With multiple e-commerce solutions, challenges included longer lead times for production changes, dependence on a busy IT department, costly maintenance overhead and increased system downtimes.

Adding intelligence to an e-commerce platform

We transformed our client’s omnichannel presence.

In addition to a long lead time for content creation, the existing system lacked an efficient catalog search and on-demand deployment of static content and other features.


Our client also wanted customer insights and visualized a marketplace.

Action

Our client engaged Infogain because of our digital experience platform expertise in building scaled experiences, sales and marketing platforms and intelligent commerce platforms. Coupled with our team’s experience and Adobe partnership, we transformed our client’s omnichannel presence.

We replaced multiple in-house e-commerce and order entry applications (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Content Square) with Adobe Commerce. Our team leveraged the Adobe application that supports a multiple storefront approach to manage B2B and B2C stores, shared catalog, quote management, user management, customization and personalization.

Orders received and processed from the marketplace were integrated with an existing order fulfillment solution.

The content management platform was integrated with Adobe Launch to pull analytics data from multiple sources for customer insights. We implemented a single sign on with our client’s authentication system.
